Technology takes sports to new heights
A sport is a game, exercise, hobby, game, amusement, entertainment,pastime, and so on.
Under the blue sky, lots of sports are played - baseball, football, rugby, hockey,gymnastics, tennis, skiing, volleyball, table tennis, swimming, running, cycling, boxing, badminton and lots more.
Sports have become more popular universally through sporting events organized by many well known sporting associations. Many new sports were introduced in these events helping the sports spread across to
more countries. The International-Olympic-Committee established in
1894 had organized the 1st Olympic Games at Athens in 1896. Commonwealth Games first started in 1930 amongst the Commonwealth Nations. In 1951, the Pan-American-Games (for all countries of America) and the Asian Games (for all Asian countries) took place. African Games followed in 1965 for the African nations.
Nowadays technology has taken a major role in sports concerning the athlete’s health, the techniques of athlete and the equipment’s characteristics. Even sports have grown much competitive at present compelling to induce better and advance equipments. Soccer balls,
baseball bats, hockey skates, etc have undergone changes where latest and innovative technologies have been implemented. Using cameras and capturing athlete’s techniques and suggesting improvement techniques have become immensely popular nowadays.
Awards for achievers have boosted the morale and the performance of the athlete’s worldwide, thus symbolizing a greater advancement in sporting arena.
