The most popular form of entertainment, which is easily accessible to all age groups are the movies. Movies have changed with the times and are technically moving ahead with all the new equipment and talent that is available to present day movie makers.

The first step towards making a movie is the story that it is going to be based on, and then the script writing for the character’s lines. After this comes the actual filming or shooting of the movie for which there are either sets put up at the studios or the whole unit has to travel to the spot or location where the filming of the movie will be done. There is also almost always music involved either as the background or to emphasize some other aspects of the movie. After the movie has been shot completely it has to be edited and finally distributed so that it can be shown to the audience in theatres.

Movie making involves hundreds of people and is a long drawn procedure which could take from a few months to a few years to complete, depending on the main theme. The film or movie industry as it is referred to gives job opportunities to many people. With the ever changing techniques and the new technologies that are being invented constantly, this is also a line where the persons involved have to educate themselves in their fields to keep up with the new methods.
