Health is all about mental and physical fitness with the maintenance of hygiene, proper diet and nutrition proper rest and sleep.
Health is affected by what people usually eat and the components of food can improve or deteriorate health. Eating too much causes heart disease, diabetes and obesity. Fibrous foods are good for health and act as an antidote to diseases like colon cancer. Diet supplemented with Vitamin C strengthens gums and teeth and also improves immunity for the body. Malnutrition can lead to osteoporosis, scurvy and also psychological and behavioral problems.
Physical fitness is also enhanced by performing daily exercises. This is beneficial to overall health. Physical exercise is very important for the prevention of heart disease, diabetes, back pain and obesity. The flexibility exercises like stretching, aerobic exercises and anaerobic exercises is important for the building of bones, psychological well being and also for making the immune system very strong.
