Zink, whose name is derived from Zero Link, and Polaroid are together working on a digital camera with a built-in printer. They are actually developing technology that miniaturize printers small enough to fit in digital cameras. Instead of Ink, the paper itself is capable of turning any colour, and the printer heads simply tell each “pixel” on the paper what colour to turn. The camera phone printers and digital camera printers are expected to reach consumers later in the year.
